It's release day for Silver Spoon!

It's release day for Silver Spoon (Wind Warriors #5)

Spoon feels the weight of bachelorhood settle heavily on his shoulders until he stumbles across an author at a book signing, a woman he’d walked by dozens of times and never truly seen before.

Riley is a part-time romance writer who never expects to find a man to live up to the heroes in her books. Instead, she pushes through life on her own terms, happily single.

Just when they start to develop feelings for each other, fragmented family relationships come to a head and danger lurks right around the corner, threatening to end not only their budding relationship, but their lives as well.

Will they conquer the challenges and come together in love or will events out of their control tear them apart forever?

Happy release day for Shadowing Mace and it's already received it's first 5-Star review! Yes!

It's release day for Shadowing Mace and it's already received it's first 5-Star review!  We're off to a great start!

 Here is it from:  https://mmgoodbookreviews.wordpress.com

Review: One big strong alpha with a temper thrown in with a strong beta who just happens to be stubborn. This book sounds about as hot as is. Shadow is the youngest son of the pack alpha and happens to be in charge of pack security. Normally, Shadow’s brother Ian works with him but their father needs a diplomat and that is certainly not Shadow.

So we send in Mace. Mace is a beta who is chosen by the alpha to work alongside Shadow. Mace is stubborn and there is something about him that means every time he’s in the same room as Shadow their tempers explode.

The sexual tension and frustration just does not let up in this book, and not in a terrible angst type of way. There is also a bit of a mystery which “accidents” happening that Shadow and Mace need to get along and figure it all out. In saying that, the plot is simple and other than the alpha and a couple of Shadow’s security staff, there is really not a lot of interaction with minor characters.

But the story does not suffer because of this lack of minor characters; instead it tends to highlight the differences between the couple. This is just one hot, steamy read that is also quite a bit of fun. The chemistry between Shadow and Mace is out of this world and so enjoyable to read.

Silver Spoon arrives Friday!

Yep, that's right. Silver Spoon (Wind Warriors #5) arrives on Friday! I LOVE this series! Full of action, romance, and plenty of twists, turns, and obstacles along the way.

Need something hot to warm you up this week? Shadowing Mace releases Wednesday!

Need a HOT, M/M, wolf shifter, erotic romance? Shadowing Mace arrives Wednesday!  Want a sneak peek?

With his brother away at a conference, alpha wolf shifter Shadow finds himself paired with IT analyst Mace, the one man he can't stand. Stuck with the partnership due to his pack leader's order, Shadow can only count down the days until his life returns to normal. He's a loner. Period. No matter how much his inner beast protests.

Mace isn't thrilled either, but can't resist the temptation to push all the surly alpha's buttons, even as he fantasizes about what could be. Flirting with danger, he's determined to make the best of the situation, if he can only get Shadow to give in to both their desires.

Unfortunately, a twisted revenge-seeker has other plans. A series of events rocks the entire pack, leaving innocent people hurt and fear running rampant. Both men are thrust into the chaos, working tirelessly to track down the culprit before someone winds up dead. The pressure of trying to stay a jump ahead, with absolutely no clues, pushes them to the brink. Add in a burning hunger for each other, and their world begins to crumble around them. With no other choice, they have to trust and depend on one another in order to have a chance at solving the mystery and saving lives.

Excerpt:

The corners of his mouth hitched up. Mace realized Shadow probably normally ran the show, scripted plans, and barked orders. Perhaps Ian worked well under those conditions, but Mace preferred less micromanaging and more responsibility. After all, he possessed a brain and used it on a regular basis. “Last year, hunters focused on the western corner. I’ve sent Elliott out to mark all the fences generously with purple ribbon signifying hunting isn’t allowed. He’ll put some signs up, too.”

“Not that it ever stops them.” Shadow grumbled under his breath. “Okay. We’ll have the men pair up during patrols until hunting season is over.”

“We’ll have to remind them to stay in human form. I wouldn’t put it past a hunter to try to shoot a wolf and mount him on his wall.” Mace spat the words out in disgust. His kind hunted often, understood the delicate balance between resources and deer numbers, and worked to maintain healthy herds within their borders. The law of nature. However, he could never understand why humans felt they had the right to take whatever they wanted, no matter rules, laws, or simple ethics.

“I’ll send out a text to everyone.” Shadow pulled out his phone and began punching buttons. “Because the first human that takes a pot shot at one of my men, in either form, won’t be returning home with a trophy in hand.”

“Ditto.” Mace nodded his head in agreement.

“We still have to train the new patrol officers and finalize the annual security plans and budget.” Shadow blew out a breath.

“We?” Mace cocked an eyebrow.

“Yes, we.” Shadow narrowed his eyes. “You’re here to pick up the slack, remember?”

“I thought I was here to keep you from going apeshit crazy.” Mace managed to keep a straight face. “Although, I think I’m fighting a losing battle.”

Shadow growled and lifted his lip to expose sharp fangs. “Don’t make me kick your ass in front of the rookies.”

Mace snorted and stood. “As if.” He sauntered out the front door, hearing Shadow in his wake. Turning around, he paused to watch his work partner shut the door. “When’s the last time you got laid?”

The alpha snapped his head around so fast Mace could have sworn he heard the bones crack. “None of your fucking business.” Shadow bit off each word, his tone full of leashed anger.

Mace nodded. “Yeah, that explains it.” Not bothering to wait for an answer, he strode along.

What to do on a snowy day?

Judging by how much snow I shoveled off my driveway yesterday, I'd say there was about six inches in my area. Made for some great exercise although I think I'd rather be doing something else to burn calories. Oh, well.
Even shoveled a path in the backyard so the feral cats could get to the water and storage shed where the food is kept without having to get coated in snow. Poor kitties. But, they seem to be doing okay with the cold and snow. They have food, water, and shelter so that's pretty good for feral kitties.

In other news, I did edits on Second Chances yesterday, a western story all about getting another opportunity at love, life, and happiness. Here's the blurb:

Former Navy SEAL turned stable owner, Dusty carries scars from war, manipulative women, and a hurtful tear in his family bonds.  Content to be alone with his animals, he’s happy with life on his own terms.

April needs a special stable to board her adopted horses.  With a filly that has been abused and a history of her own suffering at the hands of men, April’s hesitant but willing to give Dusty a try.  If only he can work magic with her horses, she’ll be overjoyed.

He’s not thrilled with her but can’t bring himself to send her packing.  Not when his body responds so easily and his heart craves the salvation she offers. Unfortunately, a raging wildfire threatens to wipe out everything he owns and separate him from the one woman who makes him believe again.

Will fate tear them apart or can he find a way to step up, like the hero he is, in order to save the day?

This will be a March 6th release. I'm so excited! I've really enjoyed writing western stories lately and intend to write a few more in time.

Cowgirl Up arrives Thursday! I can't wait. These are one of my favorite couples and I think their story is so touching, so moving, I enjoy re-reading it myself!

Cowgirl Up by Cheyenne Meadows arrives on Thursday. Kick up your boots and get ready to read a rollercoaster ride western!

After the loss of her mother, Trinity finds herself alone in the world with only her horse, Legacy, for companionship. She embarks on a journey to fulfill her and her late mother’s dream:  to qualify for the barrel racing national championship.
Cody signed up as a rodeo vet in order to help alleviate his restlessness since returning from Afghanistan. The former Navy SEAL struggles with his scars both inside and out, especially after his last girlfriend took one look at his wounds and ran.
Both Trinity and Cody are no strangers to grief. They recognize a kindred spirit in one another, but obstacles keep popping up along the way.
Can they find a way to trust one another and walk this journey together? In order to make all her dreams come true, can Trinity cowgirl up to the challenges and come out a winner?
Excerpt:
“Thanks for the assist.”
“No problem.” Cody watched Legacy eat for a moment, then turned back to Trinity. “I missed you last weekend.”
She smiled softly. “I missed you too.” Looking down, she blurted out an admission. “It was lonely in Denver. I didn’t know anyone. No one to really talk to or hang around with.” She sighed and met his gaze once more. “I was feeling pretty down until you called. It made everything better and I realized how spoiled I’d gotten seeing you every weekend.”
He stepped closer and cupped her cheek. “I’m glad I could help.”
“You always do.” The whispered words came from her soul.
His eyes darkened a notch, then he lowered his head.
Trinity closed her eyes and lifted to meet Cody halfway. His lips brushed over hers, left, then returned to stay. Gently, he plied and learned, coaxed and soothed. She accepted each caress with eagerness, giving back in earnest.
All too soon, he lifted his head and peered down at her. A grin slowly played on his face. “Nice.”
She blinked up at him. “I was thinking more along the lines of yummy.”
He laughed, his features becoming all the more handsome with the addition of humor. He trailed his fingers along her jawline and pinned her gaze. Deep blue eyes twinkled with mischief and something else. “You’re a surprise, Trinity.”
“Is that good or bad?” She thought she knew the answer, but needed to hear the words.
“Good. Very good,” he purred out.
Her stomach flip-flopped with exquisite pleasure as her previously dormant libido came to life with a flurry.
“Is it dinner time already?” A woman’s voice interrupted.
Trinity turned her head to find Lacey walking toward them, a bucket in hand.
Cody dropped his hand and twisted to meet the newcomer. Trinity immediately felt the loss.
“Seems so.”
Lacey stepped around them to enter Candy’s stall.
“I should get going. There’s a roping horse that I promised to check in on this evening.”
“Okay.” Trinity desperately wanted to ask if he’d return, but caught herself just in time. No sense in sounding clingy and needy. Besides, only a couple more weekends and she’d be hanging up her boots for good.
He blew out a breath. “I’ll catch you later.”
“Good.”
Cody paused for one more second, then turned on his heel and strode away. Trinity watched him go with more than a hint of longing.
“Damn, girl.”
“What?” Trinity reluctantly turned her attention from Cody’s retreating perfect rear to Lacey.
“The sparks coming off you two rivaled the Fourth of July.”
“It was just a kiss.” The best one of my life.
